What is Ontario Greenland Camp?

Ontario Greenland Camp is a fun and informative weekend that promotes and teaches the skills of the Arctic's Inuit.

The goal of the Ontario Greenland Camp is to introduce the joy of Greenland Kayaking to as many paddlers as possible as we believe that every paddler can improve by practicing these skills.

The event that runs from Friday night to Sunday afternoon or from Thursday night if you chose the early arrival option, focuses on Greenlandic rolling, Rope Gymnastics, Harpoon throwing as well as presentations. Evenings are spent laughing and socializing by the campfire and listening to some live music (so bring an instrument if you play). The weekend usually ends with an OGC style Greenland Games which usually get a little out of hand!

Who is teaching?

So far this year we have headliners Turner Wilson, Cheri Perry and Dubside confirmed as well as a handful of talented mentors from Maine, New York and Ontario to help you perfect your form.

Mark your Calendars for September 7th - 9th 2012! (Early Arrival camp starts on the 6th)
